I started out with O.P.I.'s Natural Nail Strengthener for the base coat and let it set completely before I started the little faces. I used the brush to create a squished circle on the edges of my nails in O.P.I.'s Alpine Snow to create the head shape. I then used a bobby pin dipped in O.P.I.'s Razzle Dazzler off of the Nicole line to create the ears, the eyes, and the little nose. I've found that it's better to have the dots for the eyes touch so that your panda looks more cartoon-like. Go back in with a lighter hand in the Alpine snow to create the white eye dots. For the thumb I had to use the bobby pin again but for the rest I just used an orange stick. I wanted to ad an extra layer of cute so on my thumb I put a little white dot on the nose to make it seem as if it had a little shine to it. I could have done this to the other nails but I felt like the their noses were too small. As always I finished with Sally Hanson's Supper Shine Shiny Top Coat to seal it all in.
This look is easily modified if you wanted to add a light pink, a light brown, or even a light green as the background. Have fun with it!
